2008 Fair Royalty

Girls, how would you like to be treated like royalty? The Fair Board will ONLY accept applications for Fair Queen, Fair Princess and Fair Junior Princess from registered 4H participants.

The application process will include a questionnaire and personal information section. There will be NO pageant or stage interview. A panel of judges will select the winners based on the strength of written answers and of the merit of the applicant. All applications will be given to the judges without the judges knowledge of whom they are judging. Age requirements will be the same as 4H age requirements with Seniors (4-H age 14-18) applying for Queen, Intermediates (4-H age 11-13) applying for Princess and Juniors (4-H age 8-10) applying for Junior Princess.

Duties of the Royalty will be modified during the fair to allow time needed for the 4Her to attend to projects as needed. There will be mandatory appearances Royalty must make during the spring and summer months to promote the Fair. Application and
