2019 Fair Royalty Court

Jr. Princess Cheyenne Bechhold

Royalty help to build the July 4th parade float, they promote the Fair throughout the community with public appearances and poster hanging, they attend all four days of the Fair to answer questions and ensure Fair-goers enjoyment, they present ribbons at all Fair livestock shows, and they represent the Fair with decorum at events throughout the Southwest during the year of their reign.

Queen DeAnn Schaaf

DeAnn is 18 years old and the daughter of Alvin and Terry Schaaf. She is the fifth generation on a horse and cattle ranch in Archuleta County and is an eleventh year member of 4-H. She is an upcoming freshman at Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado where she will study business. She enjoys basketball, volleyball, rodeo and hunting. She loves to show animals and spend time with her family. Her mother, her aunt, and her older sister have all held the title as Archuleta County Fair queen and DeAnn feels honored to continue the family tradition and promote the fair.

Princess Halle Munyon

Halle is 13 years old and the Granddaughter of Lynn and Melody Munyon. Halle attends Pagosa Middle school and will be in the 8th grade this fall. She is in her 4th year of 4H horse project. Halle's 3rd year of 4H served as Treasurer and this year is currently serving as Vice President. Halle loves all horse activities from barrel racing to English Equitation. Halle dreams of becoming an Equine Veterinarian. It is Halle’s honor and privilege to represent Archuleta County as Princess.

Jr. Princess Cheyenne Bechhold

Cheyenne is 10 years old and the daughter to Shannon Smith-Kinder and Jon Kinder. She will be in the fifth grade this year. She loves being artistic, outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, playing with her dogs, as well as cooking/baking. She is looking forward to one day being in the medical field and helping save lives as well as making a difference in the world. Cheyenne feels very honored to be the first in her family to participate as Jr. Princess, and promoting the fair.

Archuleta County Fairgrounds

344 U.S. Highway 84, in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  The Fairgrounds are located just southeast of the Hwy 160 and Hwy 84 intersection.  Upon arrival, turn on to Mill Creek Road where traffic will be directed to the Fair's free parking lot. Handicap accessible parking is available.
